This means that the bit does not have contact with the elastic – a prerequisite from FEI & DRF that the bit must not have contact with the elastic.
In the reins, it will not be legal to use the elastic yet, regardless of whether there is leather on top of it.
But on the cheek pieces, we’re waiting for an answer. But a similar solution has received a yes from another manufacturer. So we’re positive that it can succeed.
