GASTRO MASH® is a mash with a low content of sugar (5%) and starch (5%) – and is suitable for all types of horses. From the hobby horse to the high-performance competition horse. The fiber content is high and the protein level is well balanced. Low Starch GASTRO MASH® contains live yeast (Levucell®SC) and maerl (Acid Buf®), as well as a source of calcium and magnesium, which supports the pH balance in the stomach and has a positive effect on the intestine.
GASTRO MASH® can be given to all horses, but is especially recommended for horses with sensitive digestion and/or for horses that need to be given more fluid. GASTRO MASH® is generally suitable for horses that need to be given less of both sugar and starch.

Active live yeast - LEVUCELL®SC
LEVUCELL®SC consists of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I-1077, which has a probiotic effect*. This means that it consists of live microorganisms that support the horse's intestines and feed utilization.

- Increases the digestibility of the feed and thus the availability of nutrients.

The full effect of LEVUCELL®SC and Acid Buf is achieved by giving 0.5 kg of feed to a horse weighing 500 kg.

Feeding instructions
Mix 0.1–0.2 kg Low Starch GASTRO MASH® per 100 kg horse with at least three times as much water. Leave to stand for at least 20 minutes in hot water (max 70°C) or 30 minutes in cold water before feeding. Give at least 1.5 kg dry matter roughage per 100 kg horse per day. If the amount is lower than the recommended daily amount, mineral feed must be supplemented.
The daily dosage should be based on the nutritional value of the roughage, as well as the horse's work level, whether it is growing or whether it is pregnant/lactating.
