A soft piece of leather that is placed over the elastic on the rein or bit holder.
Which means that the bit does not have contact with the elastic - a requirement from FEI & DRF that the bit must not have contact with the elastic.
It will not yet be legal to use elastic in reins, regardless of whether there is leather on top.
But we are waiting for an answer on the cheek pieces. But a similar solution has been approved by another manufacturer. So we are optimistic that it can succeed.
