A high-fibre pellet food with a low sugar (6%) and starch (4%). The energy comes primarily from a high proportion of fibre and fat, and helps to provide long-lasting energy. The protein level is medium. Low Starch Pellets contain live yeast (LEVUCELL®SC) to support digestion.
Always give roughage before complete food, and divide the complete food into several feedings per day.

ACTIVE LIVE YEAST - LEVUCELL®SC
LEVUCELL®SC consists of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I-1077, which has a probiotic effect*. This means that it consists of live microorganisms that support the horse's intestines and feed utilization.
- Balances the horse's intestinal flora, which supports the intestines.
- Increases the digestibility of the feed and thus the availability of nutrients.

The full effect of LEVUCELL®SC is achieved by feeding 1 kg of feed to a horse weighing 500 kg. NOTE: Most horses are not covered with vitamins and minerals in this amount.

Feeding instructions
The recommended feeding plan for a full-grown horse is approx. 0.2–0.3 kg of concentrate per 100 kg horse, and at least 1.5 kg of dry matter roughage per 100 kg horse. If the daily amount is lower than the recommended amount, mineral feed should be supplemented. Low Starch Pellets can be soaked in water at a maximum of 70°C before feeding - let cool before feeding.
The daily dosage should be based on the nutritional value of the roughage, as well as the horse's work level, whether it is growing or whether it is pregnant/lactating.
1 liter LOW STARCH PELLETS = approx. 0.6 kg.
