These terms and conditions apply to purchases made on our webshop. We follow Danish and European consumer legislation and work for clear, fair and realistic terms for both customer and company.

Prices

All prices on cavaleros.dk are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) incl. VAT and taxes. We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice. We reserve the right to correct printing errors, price errors, out-of-stock items and technical errors. If a price is clearly incorrect, we reserve the right to cancel the order.

Payment

We accept payment by Dankort/VISA-Dankort, VISA, VISA Electron, PayPal, ViaBill, Mastercard, JCB and Anyday. The amount is only deducted when the item is shipped, with the exception of PayPal, where the amount is withdrawn immediately.

All payments are encrypted via an approved payment server with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. This means that your card details are handled securely and cannot be read by others.

Anyday is available for purchases over 300 DKK. You pay the first installment upon shipment, and then monthly according to your chosen payment plan. No interest or fees are charged if you pay on time. When returning goods, your agreement is automatically canceled. Delivery

We deliver on all weekdays. Delivery is generally made with GLS, and shipping is free to parcel shops in Denmark. Private delivery costs 59 DKK. We also ship abroad, the Faroe Islands and Greenland for a shipping fee.

Delivery time is typically 1–3 business days. Delays may occur if an item is out of stock. In such cases, we will contact you and offer an alternative.

The risk for the goods only passes to the customer when the goods have been delivered.

Pre-order

Items marked as PREORDER have an expected delivery date, which may change depending on production. No compensation will be given for delays, but you can always cancel your order as long as the item has not been shipped. Once the label has been printed, the item is considered shipped. Cancellations must be made in writing to customercare@cavaleros.dk .

Right of withdrawal

You have a 14-day full right of return from the day you receive your order. This right does not apply to items where the packaging is broken or which cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons (e.g. underwear). WAVE products cannot be returned if the packaging is broken.

Returns must be notified in writing no later than 14 days after receipt. You then have another 14 days to return the item. You are responsible for the package until it has been delivered and received by us.

Returns can be made through our returns portal (75 DKK) or by sending your own parcel directly to the warehouse. We do not collect parcels from parcel shops.

Cheap exchange

We offer cheap exchange of goods purchased on the webshop. This does not apply to goods purchased in a physical store or at trade fairs. When using cheap exchange, the right of return is considered exercised, but you will instead receive a discount code corresponding to the value, which can be used without time limit.

Cheap exchange does not apply to repurchases of the same item at a discount.

Uncollected packages

Packages not collected will be credited when the customer contacts us. If the order is to be refunded, an administration fee of DKK 100 and return shipping of DKK 75 will be deducted, for a total of DKK 175. If the item must be sent again, a new shipping fee will be paid (DKK 39 to the parcel shop).

Condition of the item upon return

You are only liable for any loss of value caused by use other than necessary testing. The item may be tried on as in a physical store, but not put into actual use. Used items will be refunded partially or not at all, depending on condition.

Leather goods and bridles are considered used if they have buckle or wear marks. Custom-made items are not accepted for return. Bridles purchased at trade fairs cannot be exchanged.

International customers

The returns portal only applies to Danish customers. When returning from abroad, the customer covers the shipping costs themselves. Shipping is not refunded when returning from abroad.

Complaint

You have a 24-month right of complaint on goods with manufacturing defects, cf. the Danish Sales Act. In case of errors or defects, please send pictures and a description to: customercare@cavaleros.dk

Complaints are sent free of charge through our returns portal. If you send the item in any other way, we will not cover the shipping costs.

If the complaint is approved, we will rectify the fault by repair, exchange or price reduction. Normal wear and tear, incorrect use, incorrect washing or incorrect size are not grounds for complaint. Products must be treated with care and used for the purpose for which they were designed.

Damage to equipment, horses or people resulting from the use of our products is not covered. Use is always at your own risk.

For business customers, a 1-year warranty applies, and for professional use (e.g. at stud farms) the period can be reduced to 6 months.

Discounts

When returning parts of a discount order, the price of the retained items will be calculated at the regular price. No refunds will be given for price differences in subsequent sales. Discount codes and vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

Rental conditions

When renting products, you accept our rental terms. The rental period starts when the item is delivered. The product must be returned no later than the day after the rental ends using the included return label.

In case of lack of cleaning or missing accessories, the discount code will be deducted by DKK 150 per part. In case of damage, the cost will be assessed and any difference will be invoiced. The product is not insured during the rental period and is used at your own risk.

Returns must be made directly to Cavaleros' address, not to a parcel shop.

Privacy Policy

When you shop with us, we collect the information necessary to deliver the goods and provide customer service: name, address, telephone number, email and order data. The processing is carried out in accordance with our privacy policy.

Choice of law

Any disputes will be settled according to Danish law, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection in the customer's home country.
